I took a break from blowing my own horn and revision, and did some coding. After being thoroughly sick of python, I limped back to good old XNA, and made a fairly neat particle system, with a little help from the webernets. The results were surprisingly good, so I coded up some effects and threw ’em in a zip file for your enjoyment. Thoughts?
